Welcome to the
Enterprise Preservation Society
Enterprise, Florida
ONCE the premier tourist destination
in the 1800s for notables and celebrities from all over the world…
traveling on elegant steamboats down the St. Johns River to bathe in
the healing mineral springs and enjoy a “hunting and fishing paradise.
”History and hearts have united the citizens of this now threatened
community in a mission to “Save Enterprise” from annexations and
irresponsible development, and the Enterprise Preservation Society
is dedicated to this goal. Through the efforts of this organization
and the community, the town of Enterprise will not slip quietly into
the past, and its rich history, culture, and environment will not
perish.

hopes, dreams, tragedy, murder, injustice, and survival—please click

in the wilderness of Florida. . . .
